2 Quizes in 2 Days

Last night I was the question master for the fist ever OPP pub quiz, held at the Exeter hall at the top of Cowley Road. The night was a real success, there were plenty of people there and everyone seemed to have a great time. More importantly I didn't have to buy a drink all night - I think I'll be question master next time too.

Quite funny really because I went to Al's leaving do at the Admiral Benbow in Milton on Wednesday night, it was supposed to be an aunt sally night but it rained so it turned out to be another pub quiz, which (thankfully) my team won. It was good to see the guys from RM again. My old team, which was 7 before Christmas is now down to only 3 people.

I had the day off today. Went to the official opening of Owens Way, I saw the Mayor. This afternoon I took Ellie for lunch at the fishes and then we went to a garden centre and to Salisbury's where I finally gave in an bough a new microwave and a free view box for the bedroom (good job it was payday yesterday). When we got home we did a blitz on the house work and the house is sparkling.

I also just watched another uninspiring display by England who led Brazil until the 92nd minute and then let in a late equalizer. RUBBISH!

Super Leon Clarke

I can't believe that Sheffield Wednesday beat the Alb*on last night. Leon got Clement sent off as he was headbutted. Played! All we have to do is beat palace this afternoon and all will be well. I would be better if Birmingham can beat Southampton and Cardiff beat Stoke.

Went out for Steve Kemish's leaving do last night, good to see some guys from RM. Drank too much and ended up sitting on the pavement outs side Odbins and singing. Haven't done that in ages. Reena, Mark, Ellie and I got a taxi back and Mark stayed in the spare room. Currently I have the curtains drawn and I am slurping on a rejuvenating coffee.
