Another Hardcore weekend
After the Christmas Party on Thursday, I jumped on the bus upon getting home Friday night and went to London.
Met Tom at TCR and we went to see the Sultans at the Mean fiddler, great gig, brilliant to see Mitchiko and Wake up and scratch me live. Bought a Where’s me jumper T-shirt. they played 3 encores which I thought was a bit excessive.
Finished at 10pm so we had a nice stroll trough London, TCR, down Oxford Street, To Regents Street, Down the back to New Bond Street, to Piccadilly, then to Trafalgar Square and then down the Mall to Buck Pal, From there off to Victoria tube.
Afterwards me my cousin Dominic in Brixton and went for a few drinks. Ended up at 3 am playing on his xbox 360 with his housemates James and Tom.
Dom cooked a fry up, which was much needed, on Saturday morning, and we got the tube to Fopp on TCR again. Bought 4 books for £20, one of which was about the architecture of 1930's football ground (Geek).
Then the central line to Shephard's Bush, where we had a pint in what was obviously a QPR supporters local.
Found the ground and then watched 45 dull minutes of football as wolves failed to break down the QPR defence. the second half was much better. We won 1-0 thanks to Michael Kightly early in the second half.
Sunday was a none event despite driving upto Wolves to drop Ellie off for Christmas.
Had my school visit this morning then drove back down and here I am.

sounds like a good weekend. Fopp is indeed marvellous. we benefit from a branch in Nottingham, which is now where i usually purchase music.
glad you enjoyed the Sultans - i noticed in Metro last week that they were playing somewhere around here, so. didn't know they were still about.
